Anxiously Awaiting "The Serviceberry"

Robin Wall Kimmerer's book "Braiding Sweetgrass" is one of my favorites (Listened to it 2x in the last 6 months). Learned today Robin has a new book due out Nov 18, 2024, "The Serviceberry."

Checked my Libby (library book app) and I'm on the waiting list 1. for it to be available (shortly). 2. I'm 163rd in line to read (listen) to it. I'm looking forward to this. 

Nov 19, 9:30AM: Workshop: Introduction to Nature Journaling and 5 basic component drawing skills.

This is a fun workshop with an overview of Nature Journaling, and hands-on time to practice and learn some drawing skills. Next time this workshop is (currently) scheduled is March 1, 2025 at the LA Arboretum, sponsored by the Arboretum Library.

This workshop is FREE, and the monthly meetups at Stough Canyon Nature Center (on 3rd Wednesdays) in Burbank, are FREE.
