Our Mission
· Shadow Hills Nature Journal Club is dedicated to help develop artistic and naturalist skills, and to nurture a deepening love of nature.
· Connecting people in Southern California--Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, West San Gabriel Valley--to explore nature thru curiosity and observation, to look closely and record their observations. Like-minded individuals whom are interested in natural world.
· Learn about nature: plants, animals, geology, weather—the natural physical world—through observations, recording facts, images and impressions. Pictures, words and numbers!
· Explore art mediums, papers and methods to “grow” your journal and skills, and confidence.
