Major Milestone: >10,000 views

Today, Sept 30, 2025, Shadow Hills Nature Journal Club's website hit a major milestone, >10,000 views.

This website launched in Feb 2020. I know it's blogger "style" is outdated, but it's been around a while. I have plans for a complete revamp, everything takes time.

Homeschool

Fall 2025 Homeschool Fieldtrips

My grandkids are switching to homeschool for the 2025-26 school year and I will participate in their education. I am considering offering nature journaling fieldtrips to connect homeschool kids and parents in the East San Fernando Valley and West San Gabriel Valley. Eaton Canyon 1st Thurs 2025 Meetups - CANCELLED

Due to the Eaton Fire on 1/7, the Eaton Canyon Nature Center was completely lost, as well as hundreds of homes.

Investigating other possible locations to provide a place to observe nature as a way to help heal from these devastating loses.
